i got a 95 f 150 with the 8.8 rear end i want to put a auto locker it it but there r a 28 and a 31 spline for this rear end. what i need to know is how do find out what 1 i got without pulling the thing compleatly apart and counting how many teeth there r ?

i believe all the spline counts not listed are 31?

well i looked at the tag in the deff and it dont match any of the codes but...... there r very little 28 splined so most likely a 31 thaks for all the help

All truck 8.8" rear axles are 31 spline.
