Okay so my 302 in my 77 f100 just started knocking so My dad and I are slappin' in a stock 302 out of a 84 van, i have read it supposedly has 133hp stock is that correct? and also i have a 4bbl holley in the barn i was wondering how much extra HP i'd get out of a high rise intake and a 4bbl carb, or should i just do normal intake with the bbl? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.
I like 4 for power two for reliability as for heads gt mustang or explorer two bbl carbs are good carbs and can make great power race cars use them with crazy upped 350 Chevys
check craigslist or your local pick apart I bought my gt40p heads for 150 complete ready to go those are off a explorer with a 5.0 great bolt on hp with factory stuff
they are all bolt on just make sure u get the rockers for the heads or some nice rollers 3 bar gt heads I like the best for stock ford equipped the bars are on the front side of the head where the accessories bolt on
i wouldnt have the slightest clue, i did have the oil pan off today though and saw casting numbers d10e-aa on the crank if that helps any lol, how do i know if its a roller
