Brake Controller install ?
Is installing a prodigy p2 controller a simple plug an play on a 2004 F250? There was a note in the install instruction about a wire on the stoplight switch going to ground on certain 98-05 ford vehicles. The truck has factory tow package with a grey plug under the dash for a controller.

I got the premade wiring harness for both the Prodigy and P3 I installed. With that harness it was all plug an play. One end of the harness plugs into the grey connector under the dash the other end plugged into the controller. Nothing else was needed. The premade harness cost like $10. The Prodigy went on an 03' the P3 went on an 04'.
