As the wife and I were leaving Cheyenne Frontier Days last week, I noticed this unique Super Duty! Look real close and count the door handles.
Sorry I don't know how to blow up the pic any bigger. I was exiting I-25 as he was going by. Both of us were in motion. I thought it was pretty cool looking. He passed me then I passed him to get a better look, then I had to exit. I've seen em on the internet, but not in person.
That's quite a custom setup, I've seen stuff like that in photos only. I think Centurion was one of the bigger shops that used to do stuff like that, but I don't think they are around anymore.
I posted this a while back in the Excursion section. This one was currently for sale locally at the dealership where I bought my truck. It was really nice...
I bet those suckers are a bugger to park at Wally World.
My wife scolds me cuz I purposely take up at least 2 and sometimes 4 parking spaces with my dually. I drop her off at the front door and head for the boonies. Invariably, when I come out, there's somebody snuggled up by my truck.
Plenty of other places to park, but you have to seek out my nice truck out in BFI.
Haha...
I make it a habit to snuggle up to those who feel they need to take up two spots right near the door. From my experiences they are rarely heavy duty picksups that may require that much room, but self-important ignoramuses who feel that they can inconvenience everyone else for whichever reason lets them sleep at night.
Of course I only do that in my work car, as I don't want some vengeful double-parker to take out their aggression on my car.
Those of you who park out in the boonies earn my respect though. Lots of folks don't mind inconveniencing others for their gain, but you guys do the opposite of that.
I never take up multiple spots. I just don't do it. However, I find it rediculas when I park way out in the middle of no where and there is no one around. When I come out there will inevitably be some POS parked right next to my truck with plenty of spots they could have chosen from. It's like they think they are funny...drives me insane.

That's funny. You inspire the devil in me to park super close to someone and then hide and watch to see how they react. With my work car, of course.
When you get a chance, Google "Autos by Tim". He builds custom Super Duty trucks like that and even still custom builds Excursions complete with the 2011+ Super Duty sheet metal, including the rear quarters. He's got some really nice rides.

Actually they had 2 of the 6 door F350s at a Ford dealer in Oxford Mass just last year off 395. Kind of strange because they didn't have a lot of regular Super Duties.
I'd be set with a cab configuration like that (4 kids).
I'm a far parker, usually consuming 2 front/back spots, but mostly cuz the truck is 24' long and I hate having the **** end hanging out for someone to clip.

I always park way way way away from everyone else, a little exercise can't hurt. I enjoy it when another proud truck owner parks next to me. Love looking at trucks of any brand and they obviously wanted to get a closer look at mine.
