3spd floor shifter needed - 1950

The shifter handle for my 1950 3 speed floor shift tranny went missing.
Would anyone have one kicking around?
Thanks
Chris

Doesn't look like anybody has one, sorry. I'm sure you're aware that practically all of the vendors sell a reproduction that is basically identical to the original?

EDIT: Do you mean the **** or the actual shifter itself that attaches to the transmission? When you said it "went missing", I just automatically assumed you meant the ****.

Hmmmmm, I wasnt aware it was reproduced.
What I am after is the 'rod' or 'handle' that goes into the top of the tranny and sticks through the floor. (sorry if thats too simple, just didnt want to be confused with the **** itself)
Whan I bought the tranny a year ago, I could have sworn there was a shifter, but all I can find is one that doesnt fit, maybe I am forgetting, or wasnt paying attention.

I will get a pic posted of the one I have from my F3 (too big)
Thanks very much

not sure if these pics helps (not mine)

Oh sorry. I just assumed you lost the **** because you said it "went missing". I didn't realize you had a dis-assembled transmission. Try the Van Pelt Sales website. They're in Ohio. Heck, they carry all of the other parts. They may sell them or be able to tell you where one can be located.

So what can be wrong with the word, k n o b ? I noticed when Doc used the word it came up with splats and yet when Chris spelled the word it came up ok. I noticed in one of my replies a while back where I had used the term choke k n o b the four letter word got replaced with splats.
What about it mods, is k n o b a bad word, never to be used

Just went back and read Doc's second reply and the word **** took. See above. Yeah, I know, I have too much time on my hands this am. But,,,,,I needed a break from washing the outside of the house.

Put a descriptive request up in the classifieds. There has to be some of these around. Probably thousands of them replaced with later engines and slush boxes.

I'd bet if you use one of the Craigslist national search engines, find someone with a rusty old 3-sp, they fall all over themselves to sell just the easily-shipped shifter. For instance:

49-64 Ford Flathead / Y Block 3 speed Overdrive Transmission Ad 18897240

Locate Any Auto: 49-64 Ford Flathead / Y Block 3 speed Overdrive Transmission - Flint

Both say they have extra parts and trannies
