Power Service Grey and White for me. I've used this in my diesels since 04. My reasons are cetance increase and lubrication. I have three fuel filters and two water separators. Samples taken monthly in glass jars, and allowed to set for 24 hours. Never a drop of water, and I want to keep it that way.
I too bought a gallon of Diesel Clean thanks to Uncle Ted and keep a glass measuring cup in the garage next to my parking spot
and put 4 ounces every time I remember after filling up...
I'm not exact on when I do it or how much I put in, but try to do it regularly...
I also am a big fan of Power Services
We use it for all the company trucks that are diesel
We have 4 Diesels in the company and never see any fuel problems....
I used 4oz of PM22 for each fillup. Buy the gallon can, then fill 4oz glass bottles which I store under the rear seat. In addition to the added lubricity, it's supposed to improve mileage so in my opinion, it's win win.
I do the same thing. Ford's tin can of PM22 doesn't pour very well. Spills well though! So it makes filling the bottles a pain. I've been using a turkey baster but always on the lookout for a better idea.
Where did you get your bottles? I'm using these glass bottles I picked up at Dollarama. Only problem is the rubber seals expanded after coming in contact with the PM22.
I bought some fuel injector cleaner for my wifes car and saved the bottle. It holds 6oz and is clear so I can see in the bottle. I refill that bottle with the PM22 or the Optilube and keep several behind the back seat.
OptiLube comes in a Gallon jug with a pump dispenser. In the winter I run the Optilube, But this summer I bought a gallon of the PM22 because it happen to be sitting on the counter at my Ford dealer when I was in. Convenience of purchase vs ordering online and having it shipped. My Optilube jug was empty so I used a funnel and dumped the PM22 into the Optilube jug and still use the pump dispenser to fill the bottles I carry in the truck. Each pump is 1oz
No mess, I fill 2-3 bottles and put them behind the dirvers side back passenger seat. When I'm getting fuel, I can open the passenger door, grab a bottle and pour it in.

I alternate between the Power Service and the Ford PM-22. No particular reason. I buy filters, oil, and additive from my dealer. Helps me stay in touch with them, since I do all my own service work. It gives us a chance to BS and catch up on what's going on. Relationship building, I guess. They treat me pretty good, I think anyway.
