Gas Tank
I got a '94 f150 4wd 302 short bed truck that Iam getting ready to change the rear gas tank. I had a leak so I took the skid plate off and found the leak. I thought there would be straps holding the tank in but there wasnt so I take it the skid plates are the straps. What would be the best way to take it out and put it back in without having the whole thing falling on you.

What my son and I did...
Took out the bed bolts and jacked the bed up and left it on wood blocks on the frame to get access to the top of the tank to remove the fuel lines and sender wires.. Remove the filler neck before you get to far here...
Drain the tank.
Remove one side of the skid plate.
Slowly remove the other side of the skid plate and catch the tank as it drops out.
