New Excursion Owner
Hi all.... Ive just recently bought my first Ford and went went the Excursion since it is the Beast of the Road.. The truck is a 2002 Limited V-10 and I absolutely love it. Week 1 of my ownership I got a few upgrades done already... New Diamond Speakers all the way around "Sounds Amazing", Kenwood Double Din DVD/GPS, Tinted the windows, and Replaced the grille 'By far the best upgrade so far", New Monroe Reflex shocks till I choose my lift possiblilties. Next is all new Leather... anyone have anyone they have used for this they can refer? Bought the Truck to Haul my 31 Fountain which so far the truck is beyond impressive when towing! Cant wait to finally be able to do some Road Trips with the boat in tow!
Also is there any other upgrades that are must haves for this truck? Do the tuners help at all with fuel/power? This truck loves EVERY gas station it passes. Not that I bought this vehicale with greenpeace in mind

I've had my 00 V-10 limited a couple months and did the audio/video/camera upgrade right off the bat along with maint items like tires and battery. Also doing the spring, sway bar, and shock upgrades to get it off the bumpstops and stop the steering wander issue this coming weekend....plus I like power so I'm doing the exhaust as well to unleash a couple more ponies. After the budget recovers I'll likely do brake and ignition maint/upgrades. Also hope to throw on a gear vendor sometime next year for highway cruising.
Anyways a little surfing around here and your upgrade list will quickly expand....

I was blown away. I found a guy here locally who makes the grilles and it was only $185.. Install took 10 minutes and added 5 years to the Truck! I cant help but want to do a little something everyday... Its so addicting!

Very nice looking truck, post some pics of that Double Din install, been very tempted lately to get one as well.
love the color and grille looks great with those headlights.
Get the extendable mirrors if your towing anything wide...best option that came stock on my truck if you ask me.
