I was at the junk yard today and saw a bronco with a blue interior that had the rear side paneling and a semi-decent roof-liner (kinda sagging but maybe fixable). I was going to unbolt them and paint it beige since I rarely find those panelings in tact, but the stupid seat belts stopped me! I got one side off but they the yard was closing and couldn't get the other seat-belt out... I was thinking of cutting them first to save time but was going to be nice and unbolt it... but that took too long!! Oh well I'll probably stop by tomorrow morning before work and ****** them up.
I'm so jealous of your interior though. I want those seats too!!
It looks really good Rob.
My interior is pretty clean...

I just picked up the rear paneling and a locking glovebox today at the salvage yard. They are both blue.. but I bought some paint and so far I think its turning out pretty good. I'll post some pictures of what it looks like when I'm done, but I'm sure it will be nothing compared to yours. I also got a rear headliner, but it's stating to sag.. I have to paint it also.. but I think I'll try to fix that. I think it'll be better than having nothing in the back but I'll see when I put it on.

I've seen some stuff on CL but I never have enough spare money when I see something good... I plan on changing that this semester though. I've honestly though about saving up and buying an Eddie Bauer Bronco that is running horribly and someone is selling for cheap so I can take all the interior parts from it. I probably won't do that though and just continue to check every once in a while so I'll probably find something good.
The rear panels I painted so far seem to have come out pretty nice. I just have to drill holes now to screw them in and it was getting too dark to continue to do that. The spray paint I found matched my interior pretty much perfectly, I just don't know how long it will hold up. The locking glove box is pretty nice, and I'm glad my window key works in it really well. Doing all this interior stuff makes me want to change out my flooring though.. I have black vinyl floor now, and while it super easy to clean, it just doesn't look very "cozy" or neat I suppose. I really like the look of the carpet, but am worried it will be too hard to clean well. Oh well I'll concentrate on the job I have at hand.
I will probably wake up earlier before work tomorrow so I can finish getting those panels in.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Bud get it clean, clean, clean. Than clean off the cleaner. I don't remember what it is but Napa had some stuff to spray on after it was clean that softened it up and helped the Plastic paint to stick better. If done right with today's products it can look factory and last for years with proper maintaining. Before I found the cleaner I took the parts out. Scrubbed them with and SOS pad. Than wiped them dry with a little Acetone on a rag. Careful cuz this can melt it. That truck was done 10 years ago. And ya it has some scuff in it. It's a commercial truck with multiple drivers. But it still looks factory and a repaint would make it look brand new again. That plastic paint really sticks if it is prepped good first. Other wise ya can peel it off with yer finger nail. Well almost. It does melt into the old plastic even if it aint prepped good.
Okay I'm off my soap box.
Damn nice clean, And I mean clean Bronco ya got there Rob.
Do you know if they originally came with mounting brackets and the person you got them from didn't have them? You may have luck going to a Ford Dealer and seeing a picture of those pieces on their inventory to get a better picture of how they were mounted. Or, see if they have separate mounting brackets you could look at, then get an idea how to fabricate those (because I'm sure it will cost way too much money from the dealer).
I usually go to my local Ace Hardware to get all my mounting supplies, but I'm sure a Home Depot would have something that could work too.
