i was wondering who can help me out with some pics mayb of their 351 with a trickflow r series intake.. i would like to now how u ran all the vacuum lines to the intake and throttle body... i have the truck running but i wanna make sure its setup the best way
I don't have any pictures to show you but FWIW vacuum is vacuum so it really doesn't matter how or where everything is connected as long as there are no leaks. For example you could just connect single tubes to individual ports on the manifold but that could end up looking very messy, so another way to do it is with a vacuum tree like they have on the stock intake. But what I would do(will do whenever I get around to building my 5.8) is utilize a serprate vacuum manifold from another vehicle or from aftermarket suppliers, mount if back on the firewall and then have only one or maybe two connections to the intake at the rear where they're not that visible. The brake booster is the only other device that should go directly to the intake everythig else can go through the vacuum manifold. Many of the Ford cars utilize a plastic formed manifold like this and if you search the web you'll find suppliers for fancy anodozed aluminum and plastic versions as well.
