Two questions one specific and one generic..(1). when aligning my hood and front fenders I wondered if anyone has any experience in running without front fender welting?..(2) What's your favorite rubber dress-up and protector?

 

I didn't know they used welting Did they

 

the welting is really a water seal. I don't use it on my trucks.

being less that a 1/16 thick, it shouldn't have any impact on alignment, but would only push the rear of the front fenders out a tiny bit.
