1999 E150 vibration
I would like some suggestions as to what to look for. We just replaced the rear seal on my vehicle. Since then, there has been a vibration that was never there before. It was my husband and father-in-law that replaced the seal (by the rear passenger side tire). I notice the vibration when I start to accelerate, let my foot off the gas pedal, when braking. Vibrates pretty bad when I get to about 60mph. When I take my foot off the gas pedal, it almost feels like it slows down too soon (like it doesn't really want to coast at all). Could it be the U-joints? Do you think that maybe the driveshaft got moved or something when they were replacing the seal? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So they replaced the axle-shaft seal? You don't need to touch the drive shaft unless your doing the pinion seal or the transmission rear seal, but you could still have a bad u-joint. Did they replace a worn axle shaft along with the seal? A used axle shaft could be bent and cause the brake/wheel to wobble. Block the front and jack the rear wheels up off the ground and rotate them to see if they are true. Lug nuts not tightened correctly could allow a wheel to wobble also, and soon fall off.
