76 f100 bolt pattern wheel adapters?

I got a 77f100 2 wheeler i am not finding wheels i like i have some 15 with 5x 4.5 bolt pattern and was wondering if the wheel adapters are a good way to go or not? the aluminum spacers ya bolt on and then have studs in the diff. bolt pattern. Best place to buy them.

anybody done this?

Thanks for any help or ideas!

In general these dont come across as a good idea... For starters it would be hard on your bearings as changes the physics regarding the vehicles weight and the manet inwhich the bearings carry it. There is also something about changing way a rim attaches to the hubs for somewhat arbitrary reasons.

I suggest patience... Keep looking; maybe sell your rims and purchase the right size of a similar set for your truck.

When you factor in the cost of spacers and add to that what you might be able to sell your rims for, the costs of new rims might not be much more...

I used wheel adapters on my F100 and had 29" drag slicks on the back with 15x10 cragar rims. Wheel adapters work fine just make sure the adapter is bolted up REALLY tight. My wheel adapters are aluminum and are from the 70s.
