Sorry, but I am far away from my truck until after the holidays, so I can't help you quickly on the dimensions.

I looked at a lot of Ford stakes, and they all appeared the same at the mating point - I quess they used the same mating pockets on all that era's platform beds. The height of the stakes varied. I found at least 3 different heights, but the bottom profile were all the same, so a taller stake can be cut down and used with a shorter set of stakes. It may require drilling new holes for the wood to match the height of the other stakes.
I used four taller "4 plank" stakes I found, which I cut down to match my "medium 3 plank" sized stakes and used them across the front of my bed, against the cab. They worked fine, and the wood plank holes even lined up!

So open your search and buy strategy up FORD stakes from that era that are equal to, OR longer, than the units you have.
Stay original and keep looking, it wasn't that hard to find them.
Jeff
Thanks, JeffLee, I've reached out to Dennis Carpenter and they referred me to a wrecking yard in North Carolina, who didn't have the stakes but they're on the lookout for me. Then I see another forum member posted he may have some in his barn, so I'll reach out to him.

Thanks, Masked Rider. The measurements I posted are for ones I found on Amazon.com, not sure they are the size I need. But if you have metal stakes, would you be interested in selling them? Are they from a mid-fifty Ford?
