Well, my truck is kinda crosseyed...my right headlight points and "lands" directly on top of where the left headlight beam goes. I started to sort of adjust them, but I lost interest in a hurry. The question is, should I pay the dealership to re-aim them for me, or should I do it on my own? I'm seeing three little threaded insert things that have to be adjusted. Am I on the way to destruction?
A few years ago (before they abolished inspection stickers here) the service station I went to would adjust the headlights for little or nothing. If Gomer or Goober can do it I'm sure you could too.
Hey Matt, I posted a similar request a while back, and got mixed responses. I did my headlights myself, but it is a real pain. I got my friends' expy, parked it next to mine on a dark, flat road, and started twisting away on those threaded posts. On my Ford repair CD, they show a special service tool, along with very specific adjustments. That sounds like it adds up to $$$$ to me with the labor rates they charge. Good luck, email me with any questions.
