i took the plug out the back of the bowl and screwed a couple fittings in. ive had a electric pressure gauge and sender in the shed for ever( so long i forgot they was there. found it on accident) i hooked the gauge up and started the truck. my gauge was reading around 150 psi. is this rite?? sounds high from reading all the other post saying 60psi after the filter
150 psi is not correct.
Unregulated, the fuel pump puts out about 100 psi...
Regulated fuel bowl pressure should be around 55-60 psi unless you have modified your system.
as far as i know its stock...
i took the sender off and tried a different gauge. it was sitting on about 59 with a minor leak. so im gonna seal it better and leave the little gauge setup hooked up to the fuel bowl.
thanks for the help

Not sure what you mean by "little gauge setup"....but if you are talking about an under hood gauge (mechanical gauge screwed directly to the fuel bowl) then you might want to re-think that plan. I've heard many stories from folks who have had under hood gauges that failed and leaked. Besides, having the gauge under the hood doesn't help you anyway. You need to see the fuel pressure under load....that's the only way to get any benefit from having a fuel pressure gauge IMO...
