The truck pulls the Raptor great with plenty of power to spare. Mileage on level highway can reach nearly 12 MPG but combined with hills and mountain passes its a bit above 10 MPG. My average speed is usually around 60 to 65 MPH.
I did my research on the weight limits of my truck and 5'er (went to a truck scale also) and I'm close or a just over limit. When we do put something in the garage its a Honda trail bike or two that don't weigh all that much.
Thats why I went with TT so I wouldnt lose the bed.. Pros and cons to both but that was my biggest reason.
I currently have my first fiver. Sad to lose the bed but extremely happy with life on the road. I just built a platform to mount on the bumper of the camper out of square tube, it's big enough for cooler, toolbox, grill, ez up. Problem solved

Like I said everybody has their reasons ..I like the rack but I travel with 4 full size bikes ,grill, beach chairs coolers,ez-up,blue tank sometimes... Just alot of "stuff".. But I dont like the idea of not seeing whats on the back of my trailer.I would have to have a camera on it.lol
