Finally 1000HP

Okay maybe not what you expected, but I finally got both of them up and running at the same time. The Vette has 575hp and the '55 has a 383 stroker with 425hp =1000hp . Enjoy,L8R ZFLASH

Hey Derrick,
You are killing me over there - Your truck& vette look great!
Fantastic to see you got over your engine problems - I like the
new 383 better - more HP .... How does it drive?

everyone should have 1,000 horsies in their drive ..... and in my case that'd mean what about ten flathead powered vehicles , and throw a couple of 4.6's in for good measure .........

Ben, good to here from you. I'm not use to carb motors anymore, so it's taking getting use too. It's still breaking in since it's only been a week, but everyday it's getting stronger. Went back to the shop today though, either the power steering bolt loosened, or I snapped it with all the power it has going on. I'll know more Monday, but shouldn't be a problem. Paint and body work next, that is when I get more $$$. Vette is feeling ignored since I'm driving the truck so much, so I'll drive her this weekend. L8R ZFLASH

I think I like the one on the right best. What about a closer picture of the pin striping. Is that also striping on the center of the hood? Looking nice.

The PO did the stripes, they have a rustic or old look to them. I'll try to take some pics Monday, thanks for the comments. L8R ZFLASH

Back in 2000 we were racing the traveling super late model series in the South east .U.S. GA. S.C ( mostly Fla. ) .We pulled in to gas the hauler and some old lady says " Have ypu got horses in there?" I said "Yes , 628 of them but they are small " She gave me a puzzeled look and we all started laughing . It was classic .

Looks like traditional scallops rather than pin striping.
