1969 460 heads help

I have a set laying on top of my 460. 
I got mine from Pick A Part. They list their inventory online. $34 each. Mine came off a '69 Mercury Marquis 429 rated at 390 hp. Just search their inventory from time to time and a set will pop up. Anything '68-'70 will work just fine. I have read '72 heads can be worked to perform well. I also grabbed the intake ($27). Don't know if there is any difference other than my '76 intake was a spread bore & the C8 intake is square bore. I am getting ready to pull it off & put an Edelbrock Performer (idle-5500) on.
