Im gonna be doing a lot of work to my F-350 this weekend. Ball joints being the biggest. Has anyone out there used Napa ball joints on their rig? Im in limbo in between Napa and Duralast. Duralast has an awesome warranty, but Napa is known for premium parts. Any insight would be great on this topic ladies and gents.
Much obliged.
I don't ever recommend AutoZone parts, warranty or otherwise. Free replacements are a great concept until you need them, and then it's another afternoon in the garage and replacing more expensive seals. Lots of inferior quality parts carry great warranties, and that's how they sell.
I've heard good things about Napa parts, and above them I highly recommend Moog parts. Moog parts come with a lifetime warranty and are the best parts available IMHO. They are available for great prices at RockAuto Auto Parts. I recently redid much of the front end on my friend's F150 with Moog parts from rockauto. The end price was only a few dollars more than the cheapie store brand parts that local stores sell and I will NOT have to do the job again.
I am not a fan of moog since they went overseas. I've used XRF balljoints for years with no problems and are 100% us made and much higher quality than moog.
