I found 2 bungies just the right length and keep them stretched between the front 2 tie down hooks in the bed. It is perfect to hold a gas can, bottle of PM-22A, DEF fluid, cooler, or most anything I need to haul. This way when I am filling up it is in the left front corner of the bed. It makes for an easy grab while filling up.
Any concern of getting moisture into those containers stored in the bed of your truck?

I thought about condensation maybe. I always make sure the seal in the cap goes back into the cap after I use part of a bottle. They don't stay back there long anyway. I keep the new unopened bottles in the cab.
I did that with my 6.0 for seven years with no issues. I was using Diesel Kleen for the 6.0. I switched to PM-22A for the 6.7
Use the Search button/feature for additives....enjoy the next few days reading about additives. It is the only way to get all sides and + and - of using them in the scorpion motor
When you buy the OptiLube Gallon it comes with a pump dispenser and 8oz lexan bottle. I keep a couple of those 8oz bottles behind the seat. As long as I wipe the bottles clean after filling them, I've had no leaking.
8oz is good for 16 gallons of fuel at .5oz per gallon or 32 gallons at .25 oz. I just dump the full 8oz in each fill up. I usually add 25-26 gallons when I fill, so I'm in the mid range.

Same here but usual fill up is 18-20 gallons. Pretty close to whats recommended. No sense in spliting hairs.
I dont know how true it is, and I have not really looked into it but you know how people talk. But I have heard that the quality of diesel is not as good as it use to be and putting some additives it will help keep the diesel lubercation better. I have used Shaffer Soy shield but mostly just the Ford Motorcraft. I stop by my dealer every six months or so and get a few bottles.
I use AMSOIL products, both the concentrate to clean the system and the cetaine booster. Been using them on all three of my diesels back to my 7.3, my 6.0 and now the 6.7. Never seem to have a problem with them. I know the concentrate boost the lubricity rating over many of the off the shelf products.
