As the title says, I installed a T500 HPOP with new IPR and new HPOP lines also rebuilt the fuel bowl, and installed a new EBPS at RRE this last week. I have put a little over 300 miles on the truck scene the install and I still have a ruff idle after it warms up. ICP is around 625 cold and after it warms up it's around 525ish. and this is when the ruff idle is felt. Any ideas?
Well it shouldn't be the pump causing it. Since you can read ICP, can you watch IPR % too? Does the idle smooth out if you unplug the ICP sensor? How many miles on the oil and is it due for a change?

Yes I can read IPR% but I don't remember what it was, The ICP is only a little over a year old and no oil in plug. I have not unpluged it to see if the idle smooths out but I will in the morning when I get to work. The oil only has about 3000 miles on it.
I am dealing with the same issue myself. I have about 120 miles since the HPOP hoses were replaced. My engine idles super smooth until I drive it around for a while....then I can feel it running slightly funny at idle and it vibrates a little bit. Seems like the rpms rise and fall slightly as well. If I leave it to idle for 5 min or so, then it smooths out again.
I checked for codes and had ICP higher than desired and ICP lower than desired and a third code for CPS bank 1 not found. I had never seen that one before....
I cleared the codes and drove around some more and it improved a bit but still not perfect. I think I will clean the connector for the CPS and see if that helps...
I know that you rebuilt the fuel bowl, could there be something letting air in the fuel.
I haven't seen any issues with my T500, but the fuel wouldn't explain the AE numbers.
I know that you were downhill most of the way home. It may be time to get it on the interstate and give it a Tennessee tuneup. Of course you have an oil crossover so there shouldn't be any air in the oil rails.
Hook up AE and do Ken's test for HPOP oil pressure while going wide open throttle.

I'm running a Black CPS, but that don't count that out. I watched my perdels and saw 2 & 4 around 1.5 so IDK

Bobby It will be a couple of day before I can do that, back to work for a couple of days, will be off Friday, Saturday and Sunday

I have the black CPS also. I ran a CCT when the idle was smooth and it passed without any faults. Then when I got home it was idling a little funny so I tried to hook up AE and check again but AE crashed. Now I can't get it to recognize the Enhanced features.
It has been one of those months for me....if it can go wrong, it will. (I think that is one of Murphy's Laws...)

Hey Greg, Try putting your install disk in and run a install/repair after that you will need to put your code nomber back in.

Thanks but I got it to work finally. My laptop has 4 USB ports. Apparently there are only two that I can use during the activation process. Once that is completed, then I can use any of the 4 ports as normal. Go figure.....
BTW, my engine ran much better today. Super smooth at start up and then 10-12 miles into my trek it began to run a little funny again. However its practically un-noticeable. I think another few days and it will be back to normal (hopefully). My oil is old....about 6 k miles. I think I'll change it tonight and see if that helps. Sorta feels like the oil is foaming up a bit once it gets whipped around a bit.
OK a little update, Got home from work a bit ago and pulled the ICP plug and had a change in idle, it smoothed out a little, the roughness didn't go away completely but it did subside a little. didn't have AE hooked up, so do i need to hook up AE and do this again? Or would it even give any info as to what happens when the ICP is unplugged. I know it goes to a default value.
I'm thinking out loud here Rich, but I had a rough idle (when warmed up and after highway speeds) shortly after I installed a New Ford IPR.
I swapped out just the solenoid from the old IPR and the issue has never returned.
It may be worth a try.

The default ICP value should read about 725 PSI. Of course what the true pressure is can't be determined without a mechanical gauge plumbed in.
Typical things to check: Make sure the IPR connectors are dry and clean, and fully seated, and secured with the wire clip. Also check the IPR connector wires and the nut. Make sure the solenoid does not rotate when nut is tight.
Did you use new IRP o-rings when you swapped it to the T500?
i remember reading on the adrenaline install sheets that if you had issues there could still be some air trapped under the icp. park nose up hill and pull the icp.
