Another mod.
Did the high idle mod the other day and it is as easy as everyone says. Pull down the fuse box, find the wires, I used a splice joint because of limitied space and big hands. Start truck, flip upfitter switch four and bingo 1200rpms. Put it all back together and enjoyed a cool beer because, man was it hot and humid when I did that, which was about 8:30 pm and I thought it would be cool by then.

Sounds like a great mod!
And 1200 rpms is the perfect idle for a lot of things, including motorcycles.
I've got my build thread started in the 73-79 forum and will copy/paste it on the Sask/Man forum very soon.
Where's your build thread for your old trucks? Would love to see it.

Simple mods rock! I found an AIC for my truck at the wrecker. Otherwise high idle is a headache project for the OBS.

I guess I have to update my albums and the stuff I had in my gallery doesn't appear, not sure what's up with that.
