Looking for some opinions on what could be causing the vibration that I'm getting in my 2003 F-250 4x4, supercab. I've had the truck since new and take good care of it, it has a little over 101,000 miles. Just recently I had the tires rotated, wheel alignment, new front rotors, and front sway bar links/bushings replaced. I was having body vibration, pull to the left, and pulsation in the wheel when hitting the brakes. Well the rotors and alignment took care of the wheel pulsation and the pull to the left, but I still have a body vibration, I'm feeling it in my drivers seat and the console rattles as well. My mechanic rotated the tires again and it did help quite a bit, but that vibration is still there. He checked the weights on my driveshafts and he seems stumped at what else it could be. Any ideas or suggestions? I get the vibration at speeds around 40 mph and notice it more as I go faster.
Also, he was under the dash fixing something wtih the vacuum and knocked out some of the lights; fan switch, temp switch, and 4wd selector lights. He fixed the fan switch and temp switch lights, but after a day they're out again. I'm brining the truck back and he's going to check it again, but he told me that the 4wd selector light was burnt out, but you had to buy the whole switch, they don't sell just a bulb for that. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?
More information is needed, like when do you feel the vibration? Stopping? Starting? 20-30 MPH? Backing up? Turning right?
Body vibration? Do you feel it in the wheel in the seat of your pants or in both places?
Does it vary in pitch with speed? (Does the vibration tone get higher as you go faster?)
Does it vary in amplitude with speed? (Does it get louder if you go faster?)
I feel the vibration in the body, particularly my seat and console (the console shakes badly). I notice this mostly at higher speeds, 55 mph and up, really bad at 70 mph. But I do notice a little bit of vibration even at lower speeds, like 40 mph. I feel nothing in the steering wheel, strictly in the body.
You might have a bad tire, a wheel out of balance, a bent rim, or something bent in the axle/axle housing (probably not, but it is a possibility.
I am worried that your mechanic cannot find the cause. A good tire shop with a Hunter Road Force balancing machine should be able to resolve your issues.

The wheels have been balanced twice now.
I have not hit anything so I don't believe anything can be bent
My mechanic is at a loss and doesn't know what else to do.
