hey guys, I finnaly got the 351 windsor swapped from the dead 302 in my 1981 f150 and it runs great,for the most part.Now I,m lookin to dress it up a little,nothin too fancy just some chrome wheels for now,stock size 215/75/15 to try to save the aod tranny. Any sugestions on a site or a good source for reasonably priced chrome wheels,and the specifics I need to know to make sure they fit if I buy them off the internet.I live in the boonies of Kansas and theres not much here to choose from.
Reading all these threads has helped me a lot on the swap,Im a ford rookie,but enjoying the challenge.

Hey Well a company I got my wheels from Tyres International www.tyres1.com they are pretty good but make sure if you get teh wheels they ahve them in stock...i had to wait 6 weeks for back order..but when they shipped I got them in two days granted the wheels I got were apparently very popular as no one had them...but the ones I got ran 40 a piece..plus I got the center caps/lug nuts/valves stems too all shipped for about 255

You can also check out summit racing and see wha tyou can find there also..

im assuming your winters arent very harsh down yonder.... but up here the salt reeks havoc on chrome steel wheels.... i woulda spent the extra $20 or so to buy alum ones, if i woulda known what extra care would be needed to keep them looking nice.
