Can anyone tell me when the 2013's come out? I would also like to know if you order one can you also "wheel and deal" with the dealer? Thanks in advance for any info! This is a awesome forum by the way been reading for awhile!
When I was thinking of ordering (2012), they quoted me 300 bucks off invoice. Then I found a new 2011 leftover that was marked down 12K.
I got a 2011 Lariet (sp) cheaper that a 2012 XLT.
Hope it works out for me being 1st year of the 6.7.
So far so good. Really love the truck.
First Ford truck ever.
When I was in there last, the saleman told me they were going to have the "Platinum" series for the F250 for 2013.
No idea what that is, but sound pricey....
Did I say I really love my truck????
Your best deal will be to grab a 12 when the 13's come out. I got a great deal on my 11 last fall doing the same thing when the 12's came out. There still were rebates if I ordered a 2012, probably only half of what I saved on my 11 though.
I checked on this as well and it looks like the 2013's will be ready to go later this year. I never got an exact date from the dealer and nothing specific shows up search wise. Besides, I didn't want a 2013; I mean, what would happen on Friday the 13th driving a 2013 truck when I pass the 13 mile marker????
The interior looks fairly the same but the touch screen is built out differently. The MyFordTouch is supposed to be included now but I wasn't impressed with the speed of the system. I'm guessing cost will be north of $65K because look how many Lariat's are close to that price already. I'm with 2ndStroke; you will probably find a really good deal if you wait. But you would have to wait. Bummer.
I like the dash lay out with the storage up top, but if I can find a 2012 in a color I like and save that much Im pretty sure I would go for that. I'm not really interested in a platinum, they are nice but don't need it. Thanks for the links!
Someone posted a video of the platinum on here at one of the auto shows and it showed the sticker price in it at and don't quote me but it was around 64,000

Wow, I'd be a bit surprised if it was $64K. My sticker on my 2012 Lariat was $64K (but I didn't pay that) and it's still missing a few options.
I like the dash layout too; I told my wife that while driving in my two week old truck and she looked at me with a look of I'm not sure what and asked me if I was already considering trading. Apparently I have a habit of doing that but no, I plan on keeping this truck for two years and then promptly trading!
I posted that video, I was watching it again later and if you look close at the sticker it is for a 2012 Lariat, doesn't say anything about a Platinum pkg anywhere on the sticker.
It's hard to say because I have the '13 Superduty order guide, and the Platinum package is 17L. It doesn't clearly show that package code, but the Platinum is based off the Lariat just like the KR, and what the Platinum package offers above the Lariat is all represented under the options on that sticker in the video, so I am guessing it should be fairly accurate.
There are a few '12 KR's floating around 76-81K optioned the way I want, and I'm expecting it to be close to 80K Canadian when I build mine.
My trucks sticker shows the Lariat pkg, and then show the actual kr pkg and price on top of the Lariat, which was another 5,200$ ca. I bet this truck will 85k ish cad, comparing to mine.

OK, this might be a dumb question but...what's the conversion rate here? According to today's dollar rate, the Canadian dollar is pretty close to parity but on your sticker prices, is the conversion rate different than the current exchange rate?

Ya its pretty close to par. My in-laws just bought a fully loaded Subrau across the border for the price of a base model in Canada. Not sure how the different rates affect pricing.
