icp question

What exactly does it do? I have found the hard way that these are expensive and need to know if I can just delete it? I know its not on the 99psd. Which is why I'm wondering about it...

The icp is the oil pressure sensor for the injectors. You can't delete it

I had to replace my head with one off a 99 and in transport some how mine got broke.... There is just a bolt there on the 99 head, that's why I asked. I want to make sure I'm talking about the same sensor.. its on the left head close to the front right beside the lift hook.

Yep that it. You can get motorcraft icp on eBay pretty cheap

I found one for $89 is that an ok one to get?

It's not motorcraft, but it is international. I think that sounds a lot better than $200+ at part stores gonna try it.
