Replacing my clockspring

Replacing my clockspring
2000 Ex 10 cyl and my job this weekend is to change my clockspring. I would like not to disconnect the battery and my question is can I just remove the air bag fuse to disarm the system then remove the air bag?

Yes. Pull it and let it sit for 1/2 hour to dissipate any charge left in the capacitors.
