engine whine

guys i have a strange questions, my truck has 57k miles on it. at 1800-2100 RPM it whines under or over it is just fine. it has a new air filter in it as well, still makes the noise, it doesnt matter what gear i am in, it only does this under load. if i free rev it , it iwll not do it. any ideas?

start changing the spark plugs. i was having the same problem and found the #4 and #8 spark plugs misfiring with no codes.

i never woud have thought spark plugs on the v6. i will do that. and ther eis no codes either
