I have a new 2012 250xl 4x4. it kind of sits lower in the back than the front. had the dealership check it out but they said it was all within specs.... it just doesnt look right. need help......
I have a 2009 XLT CC LB 4X4. The rear end loks like it sits lower than the front. Looks like about 1/2 inch. But that is the way it looks. Thats pretty normal..
Depending on how it was optioned from the factory, it's very likely to have the back end actually be lower, or at least the truck is level enough to make it look that way. What's your FGAWR on the VIN sticker below the driver's door latch?
With all the stories of how bad 2011+ truck squat, I'd go straight to a two-pack of add-a-leafs and be done with it.
If it was anything before an '11 I'd say go with the blocks, but with these new F-250s only having the 2+1 leaf pack from the factory, I personally would want to put more springs in there. I have 4+overload+aux, I wouldn't want any less.
The FGAWR is 5600lbs. has the plow prep. i had also measured the distance from the top of tire to the wheel well and it is about a 1/2 inch lower in the back....

Mine looks the same, its actually 1/2 higher in the rear. Bothers me too. I'm planning on level kitting the front 2&1/2 inches and putting 5 inch blocks on the rear. Should make the rear a inch + higher.

It's the snowplow prep option that did that to ya. Is 1/2" enough to bother you? Dumb question I guess, since you wouldn't have posted if it didn't bother you.
If you actually mount a plow, it will more than level it out. If you don't plan to ever plow, you could change the front springs to a lower set. Or any of the other good options that were suggested by others.
Got the plow and camper package. Front looked higher than the rear. Measured the rear at about 1 inch lower than the front. Just installed Bilstein 5100 shocks and an additional 2 inch rear blocks. Truck looks level now but haven't measured yet.
