Me again, undriveable X

So again my X seems to be craving my attention since lately I've been throwing money into getting my Crown Vic back on the road and spending all my time fixing her up...

The sway bar bushings are bad, I know that. When I hit a good patch of crappy road (I live in Quebec, Canada 90% of paved roads are worse than the dirt roads) the truck seems to "bounce" as in it doesn't stay glued to the road, it seems the front shocks are seized or something, there is absolutely no damper...

So I know I need bushings and will be ordering the Energy kit(S) to get the entire sway bar issue fixed.

Looking for feedback as to price/quality of Bilsteins, Ranchos, etc. As I've said, the CV has been emptying my wallet and I no longer have the funds available to go with "best" option, it's now "best" option that fits the price.

Also... I've been seeing steering threads but made this one mostly regarding my steering problem as I think it may be different.

4 days ago I made a turn from my small street onto another street and the turn was an L shaped turn. The steering didn't come back to center, it took force to bring it back and when I did, it felt as if my front passenger tire was oval... I pulled over and turned the steering all the way to the right to check for anything loose. Didn't seem to be anything loose so I started her up and the problem was gone... now it seems when I take a sharp (L shaped turn) the same problem happens wether is right or left turn. It also pulls to either side quite a bit when driving in a straight line. What should I be checking for?

It sucks because I had just changed the PCV and cleaned the TB and noticed a smoother idle and better pull at 3k+ RPM's and now this. I hate to have to spend money on it again but I actually hate not being able to drive it more... I wanna ride the Ex again

Any ideas/suggestions would be awesome!

Edit: 2000 4x4 V10 with around 150k miles, no idea when anything was last change on the front end as I've only had it for around 10k miles and haven't changed anything yet myself.

Does the power steering fluid look really brown and old? I had the same problem with my Ex, where the wheel was harder turning to the right. I flushed the power steering fluid and that fixed that problem. The power steering pump is critical on diesels especially with hydroboost breaks. I am un sure if the gassers have hydroboost but the ps pump provides the braking power as well.
