Hey guys im trying to run an amp power wire and I know they make bushings for this but theres no place close to me that sells audio equipment and I was wondering if there is a good alternitive to this or something i could get at an autoparts store? Im looking for a bushing or something to go around the 4 gauge power wire when it goes through the firewall
Look in the HELP! section at the auto store. They usually have a package with 6 or grommets of different sizes for a few dollars. Drill hole, insert grommet, pass wire through. If there is a little extra space after you pass the wire through seal it up with a little RTV

Funny story I put a new starter in my truck this morning and I have my electric connectors and stero stuff in a plastic orginizer and I noticed one of the wires had some of the installation removed and the wire exposed so I cut it back and put a new wire and connector on it. Anyway while in the box I found some bushings, I knew I had some but they were all small from what I could remeber. Well staring back at me was a bushing just big enough to do the job. It was a pain but it worked
Shouldn't have drilled a hole in the firewall.. There are rubber grommets under the cab. Much easier to run wiring down the frame rail and then into the cab right behind the seat. Thats where my 1/0 wire is ran though. Big 3 response video. - YouTube
Would that hole be there in ext cabs as well? Would have been nice but the hole I had drilled awhile back so it wasnt a big deal and in a decent spot at least i thnk
