Intermitten boost loss

2004 f250 6.0 with 206,000 blissful miles. I am experiencing intermittent boost loss. Sometimes for 30 sec up to ten minutes. Sometimes it just kicks back in and sometimes with a good bump in the road, will fire back up. I have replaced the map sensor and vacuum hose and it seems to do it less frequently but still on occasion. No smoke of any kind. Only mods are 4" turbo back - cat exhaust and egr delete. Any insight of where to tinker next would be appreciated.

Sticking turbo vanes. Clean and lube the turbo. Have you pulled the codes yet? What did it show? YOu can have codes without it setting the CEL.

200,000 miles! if youve never cleaned your turbo, its probably that. ive got 116,000 and had to replace it and then clean it sometime later because of that "surging" feeling. Do you ever hear it cough out the intake?

I've had the code reader done at an auto parts store but nothing ever shows up. I had a new turbo put in at 100,00 but have never cleaned it. I'll have to do some reading on how to do that but that sounds like that could be the issue because a good bump will make it boost again. Not sure on the cough thing but I do know it will surge pretty good at 50 miles an hour...won't go faster than that.
Looks like I've goat some cleaning to do. Thanks for the suggestions

Just a quick update: Turns out my problem was the ficm. The problem got worse and after a little investigation decided to check the voltage output of the ficm. Easy and quick test, should have a min of 45 volts but I was only getting 23v. Ordered and installed a rebuilt ficm from circuit board medics and now my truck runs like new.
