ABS Questions @ sensor
Van: 2005 E350, V-10, Torqe Shift, 3.73 Open diff.
I just had my semi-float axle replaced with a full-float axle. I ran the build code on the axle and it all seemed good as it was for the correct years and with ABS.
The semi-float axle had an abs sensor in the axle housing. The full-float seems to have wheel sensors. The PCM gets speed signal from the transmission (so I have been told).
My question is, is there any way to get the ABS to work with the wheel sensors. OR, do I need to add a reference disk to the gear and drill a hole for the original sensor? I plan on adding a limited slip so could add the reference disk then.
