HELP!! 79 ford f150 problems
Ok i have a 79 ford with a 4604 and i cannot get the truck to crank from the key. I can jump it off with a screwdriver from the starter solenoid but as soon as i remove the screwdriver the truck will cut off. And the starter is also sticking and will not disengage. What can i do to keep my truck running!

You have a bad ignition switch and/or a bad solenoid. Easy fixes both. You might want to change out the starter too if it makes you feel better.

I replaced the ignition switch already and that is the 3rd solenoid in 2 days
