Hi i have a 1991 ford bronco with a 351w. Yesterday i went offroading and mudding for the first time. When i got home i notice that my brake lights were on so i turned the lights of and they still stayed on. I checked i all fuses but nothing they still wont turn off. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
Yeah i replace the brake light sensor and the lights still remind on. I also made sure the pedal is coming all the way up and it is but still nothing. How can i check the booster to see if thats the problem? Im starting to freak out cause i cant find the problem lol.....
Lol but my brakes work fine. Its not the brake light in the dash that is on its the my brake lights on the back thats on. And i dont know how to fix that you know.
For the brake lights to stay on like that..it has the be the brake switch.
Once you push in yer brakes it opens the circuit on the switch to give yer brake lights power to turn off. You will have to adjust it if it stays on. to adjust the switch you have to turn it so when you let go of yer brakes the button on the switch will push in and close the circuit.
