HEY CHEEZIT!

Told u I was gonna start my threads like this. I just had it out with a employee.

Heres the question...How long does it take to rebuild a 2000 model 7.3? You have the heads,block,crank,cam,and the ford rebuild kit they offer all at your feet. a buddy of mine swears its gonna take 2 weeks.. I say 3 maybe 4 days. 8hr a day...

How quick have u completed one? Me? 4 days...

Well that is also stating that nothing needs machining. Just putting everthing back together. If you are really good and have exp it could be done in days for sure.

we have engine swap comps on the humvees at work sometimes start to finish in under a full day, truck has to beable to be driven with no leaks.

Yup,everything is ready.this particular truk was bored .20 over...crank is standerd. All at your feet,ready to go

with all parts there? one day for assembly, one day for install and one day to fire and get all the bus out. but to put together is only a one day job.
