Ext cab window covers?

Ok stupid question time...

I'm supposed to look at a 1990 F150 ext cab 4x4 today. I've only seen it in pics. The one thing visually I don't like are the partial window covers on the rear side windows of the extended cab. Does anyone know if these are removable? Or are they permanent?
