I just got a 6" skyjacker lift that I'm in the process of installing. It gives you small brackets that drop the bump stops. My question is, how do you get the bump stops off? There isn't a bolt in the middle like I thought there would be. Any help would be appricated thanks.
When I reached me hand behind the spring tower I couldn't feel a nut. I'll take a closer look but there wasn't a nut above it to the best of my recollection.
Sorry - I dug one out of my junkpile, but it turns out I picked up a REAR bumpstop.
The front ones have a bolt with a small head (don't remember the size) and it's sunken thru the frame rail into the bottom lip of the spring tower. You'd need a light & a mirror to see it, but I think you can get a wrench inside the crossmember if you jack the frame up & let the axle sag.
