i get home from work and my chevy silverado 4x4 is gone.in its place is a 2005 eddie bower expadition 4x4 with every bell and wistle ford offerd in that year and model. my wife traded my back up truck in so she could have a (nicer) ride.my chevy was a 2000 lifted extend cab that was clean and kept well. so after a test drive i like it .the options are confuseing as hell but will learn them in time.so without intentanaly doing this my self i have gone from a two truck chevy family to a two truck ford family in under one year.i am glad she has a good secure job in the health feild so she can pay for the truck.i dont like payments on anything.save up and buy it cash and own is my way.so anyway just wanted to share and now ill be posting in two sections on this fourm.have a good day fellas.
i was allways a chevy guy. just kinda ran in the family.then i had a f150 company work truck i ran for 10 years.i drove that truck like it was stolen ran it hard and went in places a truck with geny, air compersors cords, hoses, nail guns ,saws.compleat set up for building houses.and never broke anything but the bolts that held down the ladder rack from twisting it a lil to much on a dirt road i probably shouldent have been on.thats what made me buy my 350.now i want another 350.this is adicting for sure.
Blue is what its all about! I just can't seem to part with my VW GTI. It was my first (expensive) car I have been able to own. It's still looks new. Great German quality. Had it since 2006. Now I'm all blue oval. My wife and I just got her Edge. That thing is EXTREMELY comfortable, and its got plenty of power also! These Fords are up to par with VW and any other auto maker for sure at this point.
If it makes you feel any better, it took me almost a week to figure out the heater in my '11 (coming from a 2000 XLT with no bells/whistles). All I knew to do was spin the left **** all the way to the right.
I can't wait to get a '13 Explorer Sport in the garage later this year. Wife (and myself) are excited to get rid of our '08 Outlook.
thanks silver that does make me feal better.i just start pushing buttens to see what they do.the book (pamplet)i down loaded makes it sound ez but ya get in the ride and it just dosent work like the pamplet said ..lol..i like the look the ride and the tech stuff about it. i just have to learn what everything does.my biggest thing now is the navagation systom.when i push the navi button it ask me for a disk? so i think to my self WTF truck ya want metalica or shinia twain??im gunna end up down at a ford dealer to find out whats up.she bought this from a small car lot not a ford dealer....
