Engine coolant disappearing
My 2001 F-250 SD 5.4L 4X4 coolant keeps getting low every few months it is down by a 1/2 gallon, and I don't see any leaks or smell antifreeze,there is no unusual amount of water or vapor coming from the tail pipe,any thoughts would be appreciated.Thank You

At this point you need your cooling system pressure checked. It cost a few bucks, but in the long run is probably cheaper than blindly throwing parts at it to solve the issue.

You can do the pressure testing yourself if you want.
If your friend can do it no prob, but a shop will charge you. This method is free (except the initial deposit) and you get results in just a few hours, plus the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself.
