I have a 1980 302 in a 1966 f-100 project. I broke the dipstick tube. The block number is E0AE so it's a full size car engine. The dipstick presses in the block on the driver side.
So I am trying to order a new dipstick tube and all the lengths show 20.5". When I measure the old tube it looks more like 21.5" and the stick is 26". I know there is a tube which fits in the timing cover and one in the pan. This one goes in the block but I am not sure how many different tubes there are. Any ideas guys?
I searched the threads here and it looks like I am not the only one confused.
