Ive ordered a few parts from riffraff and i like their web site and they send everything pretty quick but they are all the way on the west coast and being from ohio it takes 8 days for ground shipping for stuff to get here making it really inconvenient and expensive is there anywhere on the east coast like riffraff?
The stuff I have ordered from Riffraff usually gets to me in 3 or 4 days, so it's a little odd that it takes so long to get to you. Depending on what you want, though Jim (Rosewood diesel) carries quite a bit that isn't shown on his website. You would have to call or email him and talk to him to see whether he has what you need, but he is here in NE Ohio as well so shipping times would be a lot less if he has what you need.

I thought that too Nate, But he stopped carrying almost all of it.

I don't blame Jim for stopping though.
Well, I never really "carried" anything, it's all drop shipped from the warehouse.
I just took it off my site due to spending so much time price quoting stuff only to never hear back from anyone.
If you are local, give me a shout and I'll see what I can do. I can get just about anything anyone else can get.
But keep in mind, I bet RiffRaff drop ships too, unless it's something unique to them, and it could still take 5 days to get here if it's coming from a West Coast warehouse.

That would explain the variation in shipping times too. I guess I never thought to look at the return address on the things that took longer. The majority of the stuff I get I think comes straight from them and it gets here in 3 days or so. I am guessing it comes from them because they always throw in a couple Riffraff stickers on the orders I have gotten from them. I would imagine a lot of the OEM parts they sell though are drop shipped form the warehouse.

We actually drop ship very little. Only exhaust systems, and a few rarely ordered items. Over 80% of the website is physically in stock here in Oregon. That being said, anytime you can use USPS Priority it will be 2-3 days rather than 5 business days to the east coast. People often forget that UPS transit times are business days only so weekends don't count.
If the OP ever needs anything and they are unsure about transit times please call and ask. We are happy to advise on the least expensive and differing service levels.
Well there you have it! Straight from the horse's (err, parts guy's) mouth! Thanks Clay!
I will say that as far as selection and parts go for these old trucks, there isn't anybody that I know of that carries more parts for the engines. Body and drive train, maybe but for your engine performance parts, Clay is the man!
Yea i understand the weekend thing and still 15 bucks for oil cooler seals, o rings, and an inlet gasket in shipping is alot but i know that its not your fault that you have to ship it across the country. again i have nothing against your products i ordered a deleted pedestal last night from you but if i was in a pinch i couldn't wait a week to get parts. lucky for me right now i have a dd and i'm building the engine in the garage so i have plenty of time to wait for parts.
