Yellow/black-hash = fused, switched power
Light blue/red-stripe = dimmable backlighting
Black = ground
(Light) Green/yellow-stripe = constant power for memory
I don't remember the speaker wires - multi-colored, lots of pink involved
speakers are normally two same colored wires, one with a stripe. when i do radios i run the memory right to the positive battery terminal, find a close ground, and normally just use to stock power one. once the radio has power just turn it on and trial and error to get the right speakers hooked up to the right adjustment on the radio.
I just went to Best Buy and bought a wiring harness fromt he stereo dept. The harness had the wiring directions with it and it just plugged into the same harness the old radio unplugged from. Didnt have to cut or splice anything into the truck harness.

FYI, My 85 has the (-) or ground to the left and right door speakers jumpered in the factory plug.
Most of the newer stereo units are seperate. I just clipped the jumper and spiced the ground(-) for the other speaker.
No biggy,but will probably make a world of difference in sound quality.
Might be work checking out..Trav
