Blinkers not working Flashers Do work

Got a 2003 F150 4.6 2wd and recently the blinkers dont work. Also some how the 4wd light came on even though the truck is a 2wd. After searching it seems alto of people recommend replacing the Multi Function Switch. The truck is plain jane no tilt wheel.

Is this the MFS everyone is talking about?

replaced MFS and a few bulbs. Still didnt fix it. Any ideas, im stumped at this point.

I checked the green wires on top of the column and they are grounded, are they suppose to be? They dont come hot when blinker engaged but do become hot when Flashers are engaged.

Please help..I need this truck up and going.

The hazards and the signals use different outputs of the flasher.

Are there any other symptoms present or actions taken that you've omitted telling us about

?

The only other thing is there is a 4x4 light on and this truck is 2wd. Besides that no. Brakes, running lights, and flashers all work. I have tried repalcing bulbs, multi function switch, and flasher all with NO luck.

Any ideas on what to check next, how to walk through the electrical system? Any input would be appreciated.

I thought there were 2 flashers, 1 for flashers and 1 for turn signals.
Check fuse #13 and #23.

No, there is only one flasher relay. Please check the schematic.

The 4x4 light is probably a fault in the cluster and isn't related to the turn signals.

Thanks for clarification on 4x4 light and one flasher.

Does anybody have the electric schematics or know the wire colors, I guess I need to start tracing every wire from light back to switch. (YUCK)

Bad Start, SMOKE and electrical fire...

Today i noticed a 50amp fuse blown see picture. I replaced it with another one in the fuse box and it instantly blew. I then noticed the rear turn signals and brake bulbs were wrong. I replaced them and bought 2 new 50 amp fuses. When I put the new fuses in I instantly started smelled burning electrical then smoke. I pulled fuse turned truck ignition off and it was still burning and smoking strong. I pulled lead off battery and found this box HOT and burnt. What is the box?
