My nice shiny truck with its nicy shiny wheels looks great until you actually look at the wheels and see rusty old calipers, has anyone tried the caliper paint that advance auto carries? If so what's your opinion?
My thinking is that if you notice the calipers you may be in need of new wheels? J/K. Google it and see what the best paint is. Im sure with all the auto freaks in the world there is a good product out there.
Lol, no the wheels are awesome, just the calipers seem to sit right in the gaps of the wheels haha. Im kinda particular with this truck cause it's the nicest looking one ive owned and I wanna keep it lookin good!
I used the G2 Caliper Paint from the Tire Rack on the Brembo calipers on my Touareg. They turned out great! It's a two part paint/epoxy that dries very hard, keeps a nice shine, and is easy to clean.
I've been considering doing the same to my F250. It's simply low on the priority list right now.
That looks awesome! Ya everyone recommended the g2 kit. I'm doing it cause I'm doing my rotors this weekend and while it's apart I'm gonna do it.
Another person sanded the calipers down really good and used high temp engine enamel and has it for 2 years and his calipers still look awesome. Think im gonna try that and see how it works. I don't want red calipers just black lol
