disc brakes convertion

disc brakes convertion
Im in the middle of restoring a 1973 ford f 250 4wd but I would like change the drum brakes to disc in all 4 corners.Does anyone know of a company that make a kit for that.The truck has a dana 44 in front with the bigger manual locking hubs and a dand 60 in the rear.Anything will help thanks 390 ford

front axle
you might want to look into changing front axle with disks,I have a 75 and put a 79 front axle in place of the 75 drums,direct swap and not that difficult,look for a dana 44HP 78/79 and then do disk conversion on rear hope that helps you can find the axle complete and cheap for front welcome to FTE their are alot of great knowledgeable folks on here that can help you because they sure have helped me

Dana 44 front open knuckle disc brakes complete with lockout hubs and 4.10 gears in all axles in good shape may need brakes ,They are out there just me looking local pulls this up.use your local craigs list keep in mind dana 44 HP

You can just swap knuckles out if you dont want to replace whole axle thats what I did. For the rear you can get caliper brackets from ballistic fab, blue torch fab, rough stuff. But becareful you get the right brackets, theres a year split in there. Then just run chevy calipers and rotors.
