I recently picked up a 1969 f100. I was at a fourth of July party and started to talk to the host about my cattle operation. He told me he had an old cattle truck in the garage he wanted to sell me. I went and looked at it, he made me a good deal, and I took it home with me. It just fell into my hands. Let m know what you guys think. I have been driving it all weekend trying to get a good feel for it and trying to put together my game plan of hat to do with it. It needs a few things fixed and the rest from there is just mods if I want to take them on. Worse case senrio if I got too deep in over my head I could sell it. But I think it will be a ool truck to keep around.

new paint, lots of chrome added to it, seats redone, manual brakes/steering, new headlights, most lights replaced, bedliner, orginal 360 motor, aluminum radiator with dual electric fan, only two other owners. The second owner, who I bought it from, had it for about seven years and put a good bit of time into it to restore it. There are a couple of small things that need to be fixed like fixing the brake pedal because it does not pop all the way back out and it causes the brake lights to stay on unless you actually pull the brake pedal up. And the other thing I need to fix for sure are the Texas Aggie stickers on it.
Most of you guys who can see the pics probably know more about this truck from the pictures than what I know about it. Let me know what you think, what you would do with it if it was yours and anything else. I'm very excited about this truck right now. Facebook The above is a link of pictures of the truck.
I'm a user and they still aren't available.
When you said 69 F-100 farm truck I was half expecting a Farm and Ranch Special. I've only ever seen one, a ranch kid had one new when I was in high school and one popped up on another forum a few years ago but without the wood side boards.
ok. hopefully these pics will work. They are from photobucket. I tried to upload an album here but I was having trouble. Pictures by thatdoggjakr - Photobucket
Let me know what you guys think. I am going to take it to the mechanic on thursday to have him check it out.
That's a **NICE** rig... modern AC compressor, Wimbledon white paint, nice chrome rim and decor panel, bedliner, a contour rear bumper, headers already installed, nice interior... man, I could go on. I am green with envy!!
Clean and detail the engine a bit and it'll be par with the rest of the truck. Personally, I'd lose the corrugated radiator hoses and red heater hoses.... they're waaaaay to modern for the rest of the truck and the red hoses say "dime store auto parts". But hey, that's just me. By the look of your truck, I'm gonna have to seriously consider going with white wall tires. Thanks for sharing and...
white wall tires. That's a great idea. The tires still have some tread on them but they do have some tire rot on them. its on the wish list of items to buy.

That's a beautiful truck, very clean, and looks to be very well optioned. To each his own, but if that was mine I would keep it just the way it is and just fix things as they stop working and keep up on the regular maintenance, etc. It's not too often you find one in this condition.
