We have an 07 E350, V10 that is not allowing the cab cooling fan to run as needed. It seems to always kick-out when running uphill. Once on level or downhill the fan kicks back in again. ?? Any tips appreciated. Hot in Ohio.
The blower motor isnt vacuum controlled. Does the motor actually, factually stop, as in no longer makes any noise, or does it just stop blowing air from the vents? If it stops blowing air form the vents, but keeps running, you have a vacuum issue. If the motor literally stops, you have some sort of strange electrical issue.
Here is the section on AC diagnostics for your generation van from the ford service manual.

Unable to download or see the AC diagnostics. It seems the air is still blowing but at a low speed. any tips on where to start looking for a vacum problem on this van? will I be able to see much for the purpose of checking vacum lines by pulling the dog house, or all under the hood? I am not very familiar with working on this but willing to troubleshoot before the dreaded dealer. thanks Par
I have found and checked the vacum lines, and found a "connector" Black/white which is located above the passengers right foot. this white hose leads to the airflow door. This "connector" is foam covered and I am wonderring if this is a vacum check valve?
I still have the problem at WOT with the cooling air switching from the dash to the defroster. Tips appreciated.
