Door Lock Actuators

Hey all,
I need to replace the power actuators on my 99 F150 due them no longer having the ba__s to pop up the locks. I took the door panel out and the three bolts that held in the latch but I couldn't figure out how to get the various linkages out of the latch without breaking the plastic clips - or worse, parts of the latch . Does anyone have any experience with disassembling these linkages from the latch? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hey Mike, here's the best thread on subject...I replaced mine on 2000, pretty easy with the directions outlined.

door lock actuators

Wgotthardt,
I read this thread before I posted but what I don't understand is, did they and did you remove the latch from the door or somehow pop the actuator out without removing the latch? I tore my door apart a few days ago (so I can't remember if it was 2 or 3), but there were several rods that went from the latch to the pop up **** and to the outside handle. These are what I'm having trouble disassembling ... or do I not have to disassemble these? Thanks for the reply.
